Very Cold Enclosure for Horizon Fuel Cells FeaturedWritten by Super User
Sirius Integrator is now offering a new very cold fuel cell enclosure for the Horizon 100w RMFC (Reformed Methanol Fuel Cell) for recharging lead acid or LiFEPO4 battery systems that support mission or data critical applications. Included in this special outdoor enclosure is a motorized vent and heater, 1.5" insulation, and thermal warming of incoming air. The Horizon Mini 100, 100w fuel cell, automatically starts and stops to recharge 12v lead acid battery banks to enable a great reduction in site visits to off-grid remote locations. This system can deliver up to 2400w per day to your battery bank and works great with solar or wind hybrid systems. Options include a DC 12v to 24v converter (for recharging 24v batteries), a Remote Management System and website, and a multi-fuel cartridge setup for long unattended runtimes and reduced TCO.
These systems are used to power surveillance and detection systems, seismic and ground sensors, weather stations, sodar/lidar/radar, communications and telecom equipment, pumps and compressors, traffic management signage, and hundreds of other devices. This enclosure enables the use of these unique, new to the market dc generators, and in turn provides months of off-grid unattended remote power. If you are readying your outdoor off-grid configurations for the winter, please order in advance to allow for required lead times.
